Hello everyone,

most of you have been all around the city, so it’s time to go to nature for a change. Normafa is a beautiful forested area on the edge of the city and it’s the perfect place for a campfire. We are going to try the traditional Hungarian bacon (szalonna), but you can bring anything that can be grilled on a skewer.

MEETING POINT: Széll Kálmán square, tram 4-6 stop at 13:00, 7th of May (this Sunday).

Easiest ways to get there:

Take tram 4-6 or Metro line M2 (red line) to Széll Kálmán square.
From the square you’ll have two options:

1. Those who want to take the chairlift (Libegő) will take bus 22A and go to Libegő from there (accompanied by mentors). Chairlift ticket costs 1000 Huf (1400 for the return ticket). After we reached the top by chairlift, we are going to visit Elisabeth Lookout Tower (that is located next to the chairlift’s building). Then we are going to the camp.

2. Those who don’t want to go by chairlift will take bus 21A directly to Normafa (accompanied by mentors) and set up camp on a clearing near Saint Anna Chapel.

Furthermore, you can also do a little hiking (around 2km from the camp) and visit Elisabeth Lookout Tower as well (located at the highest point of the hill (527m).

What to bring:

- Comfortable outfit
- Food (anything we can cook on a campfire)
- Something to drink. If you want to play flunky ball, then you will also need beer ;)
- Blanket or something else to sit onto
- Frisbee, ball or anything you want to play with
- And of course your good mood :)

See you there,

ESN BME Mentors
