ESN BME is organizing a cave tour in Solymár, a village close to Budapest. The cave in the northern part of the Buda Mountains is 5500 m long, called The Devil’s Hole.
During the 2-2.5 hrs long tour you will climb on walls and crawl through narrow passages, so you have to be prepared for adventure. You don’t need to have any previous experience in caving, however, take part in the tour is at your own risk. Don’t worry, the cave tour is guided by qualified caving guides.

Price:
2600 HUF (includes guided tour and all necessary equipments: helmet, lighting, suit)
+ 250 HUF extra urban ticket :return ticket to Solymár

When:
You can choose between 2 dates: 6th October or 8th October (Tuesday or Thursday)
In both groups can be 25 participants.
Duration:
Travelling (one way): about 1 hour
Caving: 2-2.5 hours
Meeting:
14.45 at Széll Kálmán square (M2 station), in front of the metro entrance
! Important ! :
- Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes (which probably gets dirty). In the cave there is 10 °C .
- You should also bring some food (e.g. sandwiches) and drinks because there are no shops around the cave.
- Don't forget to register and buy your ticket!!!
