Transylvania Trip

Hello everyone,

the long weekend is just around the corner, so it's time to decide how to spend it...

To make it easier for you, we invite you to a roundtrip to the beautiful land of Transylvania, where you will find medieval castles, amazing cities, gastronomy and party with famous Transylvanian Palinkas, of course! Wouldn't be fun to spend 4 days exploring the beauty of Transylvania with your Erasmus friends?

Check out the programme plan:
1st day – 12th March * coffee above the city of Cluj Napoca (Kolozsvár) * Saltmine in Turda (Torda) * nightlife of Târgu Mureș (Marosvásárhely)
2nd day – 13th March * sightseeing in Târgu Mureș (Marosvásárhely) * visiting Corond (Korond) with beautiful ceramics * sights of Sighișoara (Segesvár) * party in Brassov (Brassó)
3rd day – 14th March * Brassov (Brassó) at daylight * sightseeing in Sibiu (Nagyszeben) * authentical Transylvanian dinner at Rimetea (Torockó)
4th day – 15th March * folklore of Rimetea (Torockó) * visiting Piatra Secuiului (Székelykő) * lunch at the city of Oradea (Nagyvárad) * arrival to Bp


We will leave very early (0:30) on 12th March, Saturday, so you can rest on the bus and sightsee through the day. Arrival back to Bp is on the 15th of March.

Participation fee:

- with ESNcard 38 000 HUF
- without ESNcard 40 000 HUF

Price includes:
the transportation with private bus
the accomodation for 3 nights in different hotels/hostels
breakfasts and dinner
entrance fee in Saltmine in Turda & in the Culturepalace of Târgu Mureș
guide in Rimetea
Registration will be ONLINE and open from 6:00 PM on 6th March (Sunday).
The registration form will be posted here few minutes in advance.

During the registration take care not to have a typo in your e-mail address, because you will be notified only via e-mail. After you've registered, within a few hours you'll receive an e-mail whether it was successful or not, including further instructions about the exact payment process.

Those, who were accepted, will need to come to the ESN BME office to pay on Monday or Tuesday. If you miss it, your place will be given to someone from the waiting list.
